What types of websites do you develop?
I mainly develop sites for small businesses and freelancers. I normally use TextWrangler, Dreamweaver, Rapidweaver, and yes, even iWeb to code the base foundations of a website. Then I use Adobe Flash CS5, Javascript, and third-party code snippets to enhance the functionality and visual creativity. For backend functionality and administrative consoles, I've used a multitude of solutions developed myself and from third-parties.
I already have a domain name and/or hosting. Is that a problem?
It doesn't matter where you get a domain name, but hosting plans can sometimes be problamatic. Some hosting plans are incompatible with certain types of website code. I've run into problems with about 10% of my clients who already have hosting plans, so regardless, it's usually not an issue. Also, it's usually an easy switch to cancel existing plans and go with the 'other guy.' Regardless, I recommend contacting me before you make any purchases so you can feel confident in your domain and hosting plans.
